Past YRLCs

"By joining the Young Republicans, you show a determination early to take seriously the duties of a citizen in a free country, to perform them, and to help others perform them. I think it is one of the priceless privileges of free government."

- President Dwight Eisenhower - addressing YRLC delegates in 1956

YRLC 2012

The Young Republican Leadership Conference is the biennial signature event of the Young Republican National Federation. This prestigious event brings together the nation’s top young Republicans with elected officials from around the country in Washington D.C. for a weekend of leadership training and grassroots development.

Established in 1931, the Young Republican National Federation is the oldest political youth organization in the United States. In representing over 75,000 members around the country, the Young Republican Leadership Conference was established in the 1950s to create an opportunity for the nation’s current and future decision makers to network with each other and their representatives. Past Young Republican Leadership Conferences have been addressed by Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford and Reagan.

Expected attendance is over 350 of the nation’s top young conservative leaders, along with Congressional leadership, the nation’s top Republican governors and the 2012 Republican Party likely nominee for President of the United States.
